The founder and leader of Resurrection Power New Generation Church passed away a few days ago, the whole world can attest to the fact that his church was one of the churches in Ghana with a multitude, due to his hardworking and soul-winning strategies. He really accomplished his will as a soul winner.
After reading some reactions and comments made by some men of God and Ghanaians about the death of the late Rev. Dr. Anthony Kojo Boakye, founder of Resurrection Power New Generation Church, the founder, and overseer of precious word chapel International Apostle Benjamin Amaniampong Okodie says that it is very sad that such a powerful tree has fallen, and rather than mourning our fellow father and brother in Christ, we are rather judging Him.
I quote in Ecclesiastes 9: 2 – 4; Everyone will die someday. Death comes to godly and sinful people alike. It comes to good and bad people alike. It comes to “clean” and “unclean” people alike. Those who offer sacrifices and those who don’t offer them also die.
A good person dies, and so does a sinner. Those who make promises die. So do those who are afraid to make them.
Here’s what is so bad about everything that happens on this earth. Death catches up with all of us. Also, the hearts of people are full of evil. They live in foolish pleasure. After that, they join those who have already died. Anyone who is still living has hope.
Even a live dog is better off than a dead lion!
It’s very pathetic to hear some men of God and believers and unbelievers saying he died because he was not from God. The Bible has stated clearly that good people also die. Does it mean a powerful man of God cannot die?
For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?
“In the same Bible, I quote James 4 : 11 – 12; Brothers and sisters, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against a brother or sister or judges them speaks against the law and judges it.
When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it.”
“12. There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who can save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your neighbor?”
I’m not sad that Rev. Dr. Anthony Kojo Boakye has come to the end of his journey; rather, I’m glad that God has called him after he fought a good fight. Hear me.
Never boast that you are the holiest being on earth when someone dies because nobody knows how they will die or what the future holds.
When I look back on my Bible study, I was struck by a thought as I read the story of Palm Sunday. The same individuals who were yelling “Hosanna!” on Palm Sunday, shouts of “crucify him!” were heard. five days after that. People seem impossible to be so erratic. However, the following thought was even more worrying than the previous one. What a roller coaster of emotions! The same Christians and Men of God who praised Rev. Dr. Anthony Kojo Boakye for converting more people to Christ are also those who condemn him.
I stated, “I am happy that his journey has ended in Christ, but I am not sad that Rev. Dr. Anthony Kojo Boakye has joined the heavenly choir.” However, “when the leaders of the church are unable to keep the church and preserve what Rev built,” he sadly stated in an interview with BBTV, “that will sadden my heart.”
In addition, he asserted that since we are all human, it does not matter whether you are a man of God or not because everyone has a flaw. We all have flaws, but the God of Man is the only one who does not.
After his death, I read and watched some hurtful comments and videos on social media. I quote: “Why do you criticize a gone soul who came to earth to do his master’s will by winning souls for Christ?
The fact that even some men and women of God are happy and rejoicing about the death of the founder and leader of the resurrection power new generation church is the most tragic aspect of everything. I label those celebrating his passing as demons and not Christians.
People are interpreting his death’s meanings, asserting that he was fake, an occultist, a ritualist, and not from God. The Messiah Jesus Christ, who suffered and died on the cross, does not originate from God, correct?
Everyone who belittles Rev. Dr. Antony Kojo Boakye; pastors, believers, and Ghanaians needs to learn to stop judging others as if they were saints. For celebrating the demise of a fellow pastor, Christian, or countryman, you are all a disgrace to humanity and Christianity.
