Moses Kuria Forced to Pause His Speech After What Mombasa Crowd Did

Trade Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria was forced to pause his speech for a few seconds after a Mombasa crowd started shouting during his speech.

Kuria was among leaders who had accompanied President William Ruto during the launch of Taifa Gas in Dongo Kundu, Mombasa County.

However during his speech, the crowd disagreed with the CS after he said he was recently in Mombasa and he met with the area residents adding that they managed to solve all of their problems.

“On Wednesday, I came here and I had a meeting with the local residents and we solved all the problems,” said Kuria before the crowd started making noise.

Kuria had to pause his speech for a few seconds before correcting himself and told President Ruto that during the meeting, what he agreed with the residents is to ensure all the children in Mombasa get a birth certificate.

“Mr President, let me repeat, when I came here we agreed, even if a man has five children and two wives, and those children have not been registered, they should be registered immediately and no one will be left behind,” said CS Kuria amid claps from the crowd.
