Naira Scarcity: Reactions As Secondary School Students Were Seen Leading A Protest In Ogbomoso, Oyo

Protests have erupted in different parts of the country as a result of the scarcity of the New Naira notes in circulation. However, in a video which was uploaded by a twitter user, the video captured the moment Secondary school students were seen protesting in Ogbomoso, Oyo State. The Secondary school students who were seen in the video were captured putting on their school uniforms.

Some Nigerians have taken to their twitter handle to react to the video of these secondary school students leading a protest. Reacting to it, a twitter user with the handle name ‘Ayekooto’ commented, “We say no to Anarchy policy. We must say no to violence. Election must hold as scheduled”.

Another twitter user with the handle name ‘Port Harcourt Toot’ commented, “Na to show you say them Don give them money. Wetin secondary school students wan use money buy wey dem dey protest”.
