REPORTS: Chelsea football club already making transfer moves to sign new right-back Malo Gusto

Without much doubts, Chelsea football club will most definitely remain keen on securing a top four finish on the Premier League table this season under manager Graham Potter.

Do remember that the West London club have endured a rather disappointing 2022/2023 football season and are currently occupying the 10th position on the Premier League table.

But then, following an injury to their proven right-back Reece James, the Stamford Bridge side are currently on the lookout for a replacement before the end of the January transfer window.

Chelsea football club are currently assessing their options and have now been linked with a transfer move for highly-rated Olympique Lyon right-back Malo Gusto this month.

The 19-year-old France International, who gained promotion to the Lyon first-team squad back in 2021 has been an important member of the team over the previous seasons.

The young right-back has been quite involved for Olympique Lyon so far this 2022/2023 football season, registering one assist in 15 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 side.

His impressive performances in defence is believed to have caught the attention of Chelsea and according to reports from The Sun, the Blues are keen on signing him.

The reports further claimed that Chelsea football club are really interested in Malo Gusto and have now added the highly-rated right-back to their transfer list for this month.

It is believed that Chelsea manager Graham Potter wants to add more quality to his defensive options and he has now identified Malo Gusto as a needed addition to his squad.

But then, it remains to be seen if Olympique Lyon will be interested in listening to transfer offers from Chelsea football club for the young Malo Gusto before the transfer window closes.
