The president Buhari administration has been getting applause from different African countries particularly due to the way the government has handled security in the continent and also infrastructural developments. On Tuesday, the president was conferred with a peace award in Nouakchott, Mauritania
The Nigerian president, Mj. General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), was given the African Award for strengthening peace. The award ceremony was held in the capital of Mauritania, Nouakchott.
The award was presented to him by the Abu Dhabi Peace Forum for the role he’s played in promoting peace on the African continent, through regular interventions, counsels and conciliatory positions.

With few months to the end of the the president Buhari tenure, the president has widely been commended for lot of the things both here in Nigeria and other countries. During his tenure, he saw to the completion of the second Niger bridge which was opened during the Christmas period to ease traffic. The president has also been applauded for signing the electoral act into law with the aim of ensuring free and fair elections.
