Shakhtar’s Mega Deals In The Transfer Window History

Shakhtar has done many mega deals in the transfer window and in the 2023 winter transfer window, they made a deal worth 100 million Euros by selling Mudryk to Chelsea. The Blues are expected to pay 70 million Euros in cash and 30 million Euros in add-ons. Before Mudryk’s deal, it was Fred’s Deal to Manchester united that is considered as the best deal in Shakhtar’s history. Fred who was bought for 15 million Euros, was sold to Manchester united for 59 million Euros, thereby making 44 million Euros in profit.

However, the Ukrainian club signed Teixeira for 6 million Euros and Sold him for 50 million Euros. They made the same profit as the made from Fred and this shows why Shakhtar Donetsk are among the clubs who have closed mega deals in the transfer window history, by selling players they bought for a lesser amount. They also sold Fernandinho to Manchester city for 40 million Euros and also made a profit of 32.2 million Euros from his sale.

Other mega deals done by Shakhtar Donetsk include selling Willian for 35 million Euros and also selling Douglas Costa for 30 million Euros. However, Shakhtar Donetsk bought Mudryk, Fred, Mkhitaryan, Costa, Willian, Fernandinho and Teixeira for a total of 56.1 million Euros and sold all of them for 311.5 million Euros. This means that they made a profit of 255.4 million Euros.
