Today another round of Rivers women from OMUMA LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA in their intimidating numbers marched the streets of EBERI enroute the Hon Kelechi Nwogu Legacy Hall, in solidarity with the Rivers State Peoples Democratic Party Governorship Candidate SIR SIM FUBARA.
The exercise availed the women of OMUMA who were joined by the leadership of “Rivers Women Unite For Sim” the opportunity to officially adopt SIR SIM FUBARA as their choice and swore to deliver him in the Governorship Elections and all PDP Candidates in the State.
You’ll recall that the first ever RIVERS WOMEN UNITING FOR SIM where they staged the maiden “SIIMPLE UNITY WALK-4-SIM, was embarked upon by the energetic and beautiful women of OPOBO/NKORO for their Son SIM, an event that took place in the Ancient City of OPOBO on the 26TH of NOV. 2022.
Interestingly ever since the maiden unity walk the noble exercise is today spreading like wildfire across the State, as more Rivers Women from other Local Government Areas and Senatorial Zones are keying into the project.
The import of this movement is simply to enlighten and conscientise more Rivers Women on the candidacy of SIR SIM, while the fitness exercise that climaxes every rally is to keep our mothers fit and ready to not just Vote for the PDP Candidate but to defend their votes as well.
Joining other speakers, Hon Mrs Sotonye Toby Fulton commended the Women of Omuma for their impressive turnout. She noted that Omuma is a conquered territory for the PDP under Hon. Kelechi Nwogu judging by his sterling performance and leadership prowess. Madam Soty enjoined the Women of Omuma to ensure that their Husbands, Children, Relations and Friends pick up their PVCS in the ongoing INEC PVC collection exercise.
When you see mothers, women and daughters march openly in support of a course then know that it is settled. Rivers Mothers Have Spoken.
