Yesterday, an Eldoret court denied famous Body builder and winner of Mr Uasin Gishu 2017 Championship Mr Denis Litali bail in regards to the shocking murder of famous LGBTQ activist Edwin Chiloba.
According to Dennis will remain in custody for 21-days.
Speaking during the hearing He, Dennis told the court that his arrest was a cover up by police, saying the other suspects are strangers to him.
The famous youthful man is one among the suspects in the Chiloba murder probe.
Chiloba was murdered reportedly inside his house by Odhiambo who later tried to dispose off his body.
His lifeless body was found stashed in a metallic box along one of the roads by a Bodaboda Rider.
Detectives working on the case managed to nab five suspects among them two high school students who were reportedly used to carry the casket out of house.
According to Chiloba’s family the young man was church goer and they did not know he was gay.
On the other hand, his lover, Odhiambo said that he killed Chiloba after he found out that he was cheating on him with another man.
All suspects who were arrested have been changed with murder and the prosecution asked for several more days to conclude investigation.
This interesting development has attracted the attention of international human rights organizations with the US Govt now taking part in the investigations.
Nevertheless, Kenyans from all walks of life have blasted the rogue suspects for the heinous murder.
A number have also openly condemned the same sex marriage and practices saying such indecent acts should not take place in kenya.
Led by Kapseret member of parliament Oscar Sudi they said Chiloba died due to his actions.
