A few minutes ago, a former Media aide to Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Reno Omokri took to his verified Facebook page to speak on the educational system of the country and he noted that if Nigerians can actually take an audit of all they do enjoy, they will realize that things are not all that Rosy in the Western world and likewise not as worse as we perceived it to be.
According to him, the nation’s public universities seem to be one of the least expensive in this world, and thus, it is one of the things everyone should be grateful for in the country. Speaking further, he said that in almost all of the Western nations, a Nigerian can’t become a doctor or lawyer without having to owe a lot in student loans as he affirmed that our country isn’t that bad.
More so, he stated that when graduates from Nigeria travel abroad for their master’s degree, they usually do more than their counterparts, noting that when you are done studying, you will then be given a year to acquire a paid experience through the NYSC scheme. In addition, he said that what a lot of us are mistaken for good governance is communism in reality, where you don’t have to pay taxes or contribute to the public coffers because the government does everything for its people. In conclusion, he said that as a nation we have been so pampered to a large extent.
Guys, what is your opinion on this?
