Nigerian students in the 19 northern states have threatened to embark on protest following the recent hike in tuition fees in some Nigerian universities.
The PUNCH had exclusively reported how some federal universities across the country announced a 200 per cent hike in school fees.

The Management of The Polytechnic, Ibadan has suspended the Students Union Executives and its activities indefinitely over an alleged protest by students in the early hours of Monday.
Mrs Modupe Fawale, the institution’s registrar, confirmed this in a statement on Monday in Ibadan.

The founder of DAAR Communications Plc, High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, has reportedly been released from the custody of the police in the United Kingdom.
An online platform, The Whistler earlier reported that Chief Dokpesi was arrested at Heathrow Airport in London on Sunday, January 8, 2022.
