Ahead of the forthcoming presidential election, NNPP spokesman Abdulmumin Jibrin, has stated that it will take a miracle before the candidates of the ruling All Progressive Congress and the Peoples Democratic Party, would win the 2023 election.
He also revealed that the APC has lost a significant amount of its support base because when Kwankwaso left the PDP for NNPP, his supporters in the APC himself joined him.
He said: “When you say Kwankwaso left PDP, the assumption is that he left with only PDP people, but that is wrong, many people from the APC also joined him. Where did I come from, am I not coming from APC? As it stands today, APC has lost about 70 to 80 percent of its support base in Northern Nigeria. There is no miracle on earth, that will make the PDP or APC win the next presidential election, you will see what will happen.”
