DJ Sonnie M was born and raised in Nakuru Town She went to Lanet Secondary School which is still in Nakuru County. After high school, she learned an IT course and later she joined a security job work. Afterward, she became a hustler with no constant job. Within that period She got pregnant and delivered a healthy baby boy. She relocated from Nakuru to Nairobi in search of a job.
At Nairobi, she trained to be a Dj and since she was a a sh Dj she called herself DJ Shy but later after she gained courage she changes to DJ Sonnie M.
A few hours ago DJ Sonnie wrote this on Facebook saying that she is not here for any competition since she is just hustling to grow her brand. She is also not despising anybody who has helped her by holding her hand to another level. Sonnie M gave an example with Subukia where many artists there use that same name and God has given each His glorious favor. After that, she advertised her business.
