Transfer News: Done Deals, Real Madrid Ready To Pay €110m + €30m In Variables For Bellingham, Barca President Talks Silva, Haaland Move

Real Madrid Ready To Pay €110m + €30m In Variables For Bellingham

Real Madrid will not enter a bidding war and have pledged €110m as a fixed fee with €30m additional in variables to sign Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund, according to Marca. It has also been reported that the player is also inclined to sign for the La Liga outfit which gives them the edge over Liverpool and others.

Barca President Talks Silva, Haaland Move

Barcelona president Joan Laporta has distanced his club from a move for Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva this year – and also discussed a longer-term ambition to sign Erling Haaland. The Catalan club were linked to Portuguese midfielder Silva in the summer but a move never materialised. City also beat a number of top European clubs to Haaland, who has scored 21 goals in 15 games for Pep Guardiola’s side.

“Bernardo Silva for 80 million will surely not happen… because we will not pay it,” Laporta told radio station Cadena Ser. “I hear that Haaland’s father is saying that after a while at City maybe [he could come to Barcelona] – but we’ll see how it evolves. For now, we’re doing our thing, [Robert] Lewandowski is doing very well.”

Barcelona set sight on Frankfurt’s N’Dicka

Barcelona are interested in a move for Evan N’Dicka of Eintracht Frankfurt to shore up their defences, according to Fichajes. The 23-year-old’s contract is set to expire in June 2023 and he is not ready to renew as he wants to join a bigger club. He could be signed as a free agent in the summer.

Ten Hag: Man Utd must be ready in January window

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag says the club have to be “ready” for any transfer development this month.

Sky Sports News revealed last month that United are monitoring possibilities of signing a new striker and right-back in January, but, as it stands, a loan move is more likely than a permanent deal – if they are to bring anyone in over the January transfer window.

“We always have to look for that,” said Ten Hag when asked about transfers. “We push the players, good is not good enough. But also in the organisation we have to push each other.
