Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has said is not ready to engage into exchange of words with Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
Speaking in an interview with NTV, Kalonzo was asked what was his take on the call by DP Gachagua to board Kenya Kwanza government and work with them.
In his response, Kalonzo asked NTV anchor Zeinab Ismail to spare him as he was not ready to respond tk Gachagua’s sentiments.
“I do not want to answer DP Gachagua, just spare me that one. Let me deal with pres. Ruto,” Kalonzo said.
He further went ahead to say that he can only engage in a political exchange with President William Ruto and not Gachagua.
While in Ukambani in a Thanksgiving service last year, Gachagua called upon Kalonzo to abandon Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya Alliance former flagbearer Raila Odinga and work with President Ruto.
Gachagua’s sentiments were supported by some of Ukambani leaders like Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti who called upon Kalonzo to go sit down and have a conversation with the president.
According to Wavinya, Kalonzo and Ruto needed to be on the same page for the betterment of Ukambani region especially in getting government developmental projects.
