President William ruto is currently addressing his administrators from Mount Kenya where he has issued an executive Order to the cabinet secretary in charge of information communication and digital technology Eliud Owallo. The Order taking effect immediately just a few days after issued another executive Order in Galana Kulalu.
In the executive Order the president has ordered the cabinet secretary to ensure that close to 5,000 government services are digitised within the next two months bringing to a halt former president Uhuru kenyatta initiatives that saw some of the services rendered at huduma centres government facilities.
The head of state now saying that this new order will ensure that his administration runs effectively without any major hiccup and will also lead to the restoration of public confidence.
He further said that this will be a means of curbing the loss of public funds which has been witnessed in the past few months before he took over the reins of power.
