Each passing game, pundits and football fans alike are slowly believing that this may well be the year the Gunners are crowned premier league champions after almost 20 years of no major silverware. But will Mikel Arteta’s side really win the league come May?
Arsenal Will Only Win The Premier League If They Manage Pressure
For years, it has been noted that Arsenal are always enemies to themselves. The reason as to why the Gunners have no major silverware to their name since 2004 is because of their inability to cope with the pressure that is heaped on them in crucial times. Since the invincible season, Arsenal have competed for the league a few times but always fell away whenever pressure crept in. Over the years, immediately the Gunners seemed destined to win the league, nerves got to them and their technical ability would desert them as a result. Meanwhile their ris this time, City have won the league severally under immense pressure. Most notably, in 2012 and last season when they were crowned champions in the most dramatic circumstances.
Arsenal have an incredible chance of winning the EPL this time round but they have one thing to manage before then: pressure.
