Grow Up, Atiku’s Aide Tells Wike

Mr. Phrank Shaibu, Special Assistant on Public Communications to the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, has asked the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, to outgrow the daily dose of tantrums he serves Nigerians on national television.

Shaibu said this in Abuja, late on Tuesday. Quoting Proverbs chapter 14 verse 17 of the Holy Bible, which reads: “A short tempered man acts foolishly…”

Shaibu said, “This perhaps explains why a governor who was once a shining light in his party has thrown caution to the wind and has become a laughing stock.“

Ronaldo: Al-Nassr President Makes Two Demand

Al-Nassr president, Musalli Al-Muammar, has urged the club’s players to learn and replicate new signing Cristiano Ronaldo’s attitude.

Al-Muammar also heaped praise on Ronaldo, branding him as the greatest player of all time.

Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr on a free transfer last Friday, signing a contract that will see him remain at the Saudi Arabia club until 2025.

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has expressed delight that the forces of darkness which had planned to scuttle the governorship ambition of Engr. Titus Uba have been stopped by God.

A visibly elated Governor Ortom bared his mind Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023 while addressing the mammoth crowd that turned up to welcome the PDP governorship candidate to the State after his medical vacation.

According to Governor Ortom, “the return of our governorship candidate was a clear sign that the forces of darkness over PDP, over Engr Uba and over Benue have failed.

583 Died If Cholera In 2022 – NCDC

No fewer than 583 Nigerians have died of Cholera in 2022, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has said.

Cholera is an acute diarrhoeal disease caused by Vibrio cholerae, a gramme-negative rod-shaped bacterium.

In Nigeria, cholera is an endemic and seasonal disease, occurring annually mostly during the rainy season and more often in areas with poor sanitation.

Abducted Son Of Slain Ex-CBN Staff Found Dead In Ogun River

The lifeless body of the abducted son of the slain staff of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr Kehinde Fatinoye, has been found in Ogun river.

DAILY POST reported on Sunday that Fatinoye and his wife were murdered by yet-to-be-identified persons in their Ibara GRA residence in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

Their son was dragged away by the assassins alongside a domestic staff and threw them into the river along the Adigbe-Obada road.

Obasanjo, Clark’s Obi Endorsement Road To Tinubu’s Victory – Keyamo

The spokesperson for the All-Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo, SAN, has said that the recent endorsement of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, by the former president Olusegun Obasanjo and Edwin Clark has only cleared the path for his party’s victory in the forthcoming elections.

He said that the various endorsement only spells doom for the People’s Democratic party as the various component that gave the party second position votes in the 2019 elections are pulling out.
