According to UEFA, the English Premier League is still the best football competition in Europe according to the odds ratio. This ranking comes as no surprise as many football fans around the world agree that the English league has been the best league in Europe for years based on competitiveness and attendance.
Spain’s La Liga is no surprise in second place, but many would argue that La Liga is better than the Premier League.
When it comes to European competitions, we know that La Liga teams have always outperformed Premier League teams and this gives them an edge in Europe.
I have to say that I am not happy with the positioning of the two teams because I think the Bundesliga is 3rd, the Italian Serie A is 4th and the Italian league is much higher than the German league.
French Ligue 1 is 5th, Eredivisie 6th and Premier League 7th.
