The reason for this speculation is due to the EPL rules that forbids any mid-season changes to the kits already used.<\/p>\n<p>It would be recalled that in 2019, Liverpool were allowed to wear the golden badge in their next Premier League game, after they won the same trophy. Note that this doesn\u2019t mean that they can\u2019t use it in UEFA Champions League. They have the right to wear it even in all their Champions League games but they would need a proper permission from FA, before they can wear it in any Premier League game.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reasons why FA should allow Chelsea to wear the golden badge in EPL, even if it\u2019s once:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Just two years ago, Liverpool were allowed to wear the golden badge in their next Premier League game even with the existing rule and it would be unfair to deny Chelsea the same privilege after they have won the FIFA Club World Cup this year.<\/p>\n<p>Also it would be an honour to the club and also to the English Premier League (EPL), as they have\u00a0globally\u00a0represented the league so well.
