As a result of the figure recorded , the total number of positive cases that have been recorded now stands at 3 640 162 . This was after there were a total of 32 903 tests that were conducted in private and public institutions . <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/0f9b073d5edd4f3795632db3dd53b65f\"\/>The positivity rate for the country on Saturday was low , as it was on 7.6% . The number of fatalities however stood at 9 on Saturday the 12th of February 2022 . There are more than 96 000 fatalities that have been recorded in South Africa since the pandemic was detected in South Africa in 2020 .
