In the past you would see fights between students form time to time and go out without the use of weapons, but nowadays, students have b3come more violent than ever. No one anticipated the incidence that took place at Lamawandla High School on Tuesday around 1pm, where a 16 years old boy pulled a gun he stole from his grandfather after having a clash with a classmate.<\/p>\n<p>A 16-years old minor from Lamawandla High School brought a pistol to school after having a hot clash with classmate. He went home and stole his grandfather\u2019s 9mm pistol and went with it to school in his school bag the next day. Around luch time on Tuesday, he pulled the gun out of his bag in front of his friends who were left shocked and in fear. They immediately reported the matter to teachers who then called him immediately. They later called the Mliba police station.<\/p>\n<p>The police arrested him. The Deputy Police Inspector, Nosipho Mnguni confirmed that a 16-year old school boy was arrested by the police and charged for allegedly being found in possession of a 9mm pistol.<\/p>\n<p>Advice<\/p>\n<p>School going children are taken away easily especially when they reach the adolescent stage. Therefore, Parents should make it their mandate to search their children\u2019s bags before leaving for school. This is to ensure that weapons such a guns, knives are not carried to school.<\/p>\n<p>Parents should also keep knives and guns locked away at home. This to ensure that children do not have access to them anyhow but only parents can reach for them.
