Mzwandile Booi was attacked while driving home last night.<\/p>\n<p>This comes as another ANC comrade in the Eastern Cape province, Mazwi Mini, was shot while watching television at home. He narrowly avoided death and was brought to the hospital with a gunshot wound to his jaw.<\/p>\n<p>As shown by what is happening in party institutions in the run-up to the national conference, the ANC congress set for December is expected to be tumultuous and chaotic.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the ANC in Mpumalanga says it is engaging its ward 24 branch leaders in Driekoppies after three members of the party were shot and injured on Sunday, purportedly during a branch general meeting.<\/p>\n<p>Lindiwe Ntshalintshali, the ANC\u2019s provincial secretary, says the party has received a report from the branch and will publish a comment as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p>Following the shooting at an ANC branch meeting in Driekoppies over the weekend, Mpumalanga police have announced that they are investigating three counts of attempted murder, but they have not confirmed whether or not members of the ruling party were involved.
