{"id":989834,"date":"2022-02-14T09:03:48","date_gmt":"2022-02-14T09:03:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/02\/14\/npp-members-at-kwadaso-petition-party-over-alleged-compilation-of-new-album\/"},"modified":"2022-02-14T09:03:48","modified_gmt":"2022-02-14T09:03:48","slug":"npp-members-at-kwadaso-petition-party-over-alleged-compilation-of-new-album","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/02\/14\/npp-members-at-kwadaso-petition-party-over-alleged-compilation-of-new-album\/","title":{"rendered":"NPP members at Kwadaso petition party over alleged compilation of new album"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/maxresdefault-18-1024x576.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div class=\"youtube-embed\" data-video_id=\"5xAWtodhj4c\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Kwadaso NPP petition party over alleged compilation of new party album\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/5xAWtodhj4c?feature=oembed&#038;enablejsapi=1\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n                    &#13;<br \/>\n&#13;\n                <\/p>\n<p>Concerned members of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Kwadaso Constituency in the Ashanti Region are raising concerns over an alleged conspiracy by some executives to compile a new party album without using due process.<\/p>\n<p>Their concerns come before the party\u2019s polling station elections scheduled for this month.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The aggrieved members want party leadership to intervene.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have intelligence that some executive members of the party in the constituency are preparing an album in direct contravention to the laid down rules and guidelines by the party\u2019s General Secretary, John Boadu.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/22191989129,1002554\/MGL\/mgl_ado_atunwa_300x250 --><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat some coordinators of the party in the constituency are calling some unknown NPP members to bring their passport size photographs and ID card details for them to be put in the supposed album being created,\u201d the concerned members said in a petition.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Polling station secretary for Tanoso, Akwasi Oteng Domfeh, told Joynews\u2019 Mahmud Mohammed-Nurudeen that the group is petitioning the council of elders to intervene and follow due process to avoid possible chaos.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Before the 2020 elections, similar concerns were raised by some aggrieved party members in the constituency.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo cast your minds back, the same thing happened four years ago, and Kwadaso became the talk of the town.
