<\/div>\nMany marriages will inevitably have their ups and downs. However, for one woman, she claims the situation has become utterly \u201cunbearable\u201d, and she knows she won\u2019t be able to put up with her husband\u2019s behaviour for much longer.<\/p>\n
She\u2019s so fed up with the relationship that she\u2019s actually hoping to witness her partner cheating on her \u2013 so she can have a reason to leave him.<\/p>\n
As told to\u00a09Honey,\u00a0<\/em>the anonymous wife explained that she\u2019s been stuck in \u201ca really difficult\u00a0marriage\u00a0for six years now\u201d and that they have two school-age\u00a0children\u00a0together.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n She emphasised that she loves her kids \u201cvery much\u201d. However, she \u201ccannot handle\u201d staying with her husband Richard* any longer and is now planning to leave as soon as she is able to secure \u201ca great job that\u2019s well paid enough\u201d.<\/p>\n According to this woman, Richard \u201chas turned into an arrogant piece of s**t\u201d who makes her life \u201cunbearable\u201d. She describes his behaviour towards her as \u201cborderline abusive\u201d, with his actions intended to make her \u201cfeel small\u201d.<\/p>\n She explained: \u201cHe constantly belittles me about how much weight I\u2019ve put on \u2014 which isn\u2019t much at all \u2014 and even criticises the food I prepare each night. He has it so easy and doesn\u2019t realise how lucky he is to have me\u201d.<\/p>\n On top of this constant criticism, the frustrated wife is also fairly certain that Richard has been carrying out extramarital affairs, despite having never found any real evidence to back up what she describes as being a \u201cgut feeling\u201d.<\/p>\n With a tendency to work late at least twice a week, while never answering his phone, Richard\u2019s routine has added fuel to her suspicions.<\/p>\n However, rather than feeling devastated at the prospect of him cheating, this woman has admitted that she really hopes she \u201ccan catch him cheating\u201d, which would then give her a reason to leave.<\/p>\n financially independent as soon as she can, given that Richard insisted on taking over all finances back when they first got engaged.<\/p>\n At the time, the wife was fine with the arrangement, having been \u201cmadly in love with him\u201d. However, when their first child was born a few years later, she realised Richard \u201cwas in control\u201d and that she had \u201cnothing of my own\u201d.<\/p>\n She continued: \u201cI\u2019m always on edge, wondering when Rich is going to explode at me, or when he\u2019s going to make nasty comments about my appearance. Enough is enough. I know I deserve to be happy, and I don\u2019t want to be with him. He doesn\u2019t deserve me at all\u201d.<\/p>\n As of yet, her job search has been unsuccessful. However, she adds that as soon as the right position comes along, she intends to leave the marriage, noting that \u201clife\u2019s too short to stay so unhappy\u201d.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
