But I kept reminding myself of that African adage, the only way to eat an elephant is one bite at a time!!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"RelatedArticlescss__StyledRelatedArticles-sc-10g88yu-0 ezIKFV\">\n<h2><span>MORE ON THIS<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>\u201cSomewhere along the road I decided to go full steam ahead and as I get comfortable in finally saying, I am a Bachelor of Arts government and development graduate, majoring in politics and development,\u201d added the star.<\/p>\n<p>The veteran broadcaster went on to explain that she is gearing up for a brand new chapter in her academic life.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI get ready to begin the next step\u2026 #JesusTakeTheWheel as I begin my bridging programme towards a Masters \ud83c\udf38\ud83d\ude48 #SoThisHappened.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-captioned data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CZeUItVt9Ly\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\"><\/blockquote>\n<p>A Miss South Africa runner-up in 2002, Masinga is also a performer, producer, fashion fundi, MC and public speaker.<\/p>\n<p>Her broadcasting career was launched in 2005 when she hosted \u201cThe Elevator\u201d, a pre-breakfast show on YFM.<\/p>\n<p>In 2006, she hit the small screen in the country\u2019s most-watched and longest-running soap opera, \u201cGenerations\u201d, playing the role of the controversial and challenging Zoe. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>In 2007, she also played the role of \u201crich girl\u201d, Theresa Nyawose in the SABC 1 drama series, Bay of Plenty.<\/p>\n<p>She was also featured in Mzansi Magic\u2019s \u201cRockville\u201d and \u201cIsibaya\u201d. <\/p>\n<p>Masinga joined SAfm in 2020, just over a year after leaving Kaya after working for the station for over four years.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><script async defer src=\"https:\/\/platform.instagram.com\/en_US\/embeds.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Award-winning radio host and television presenter Bridget Masinga is over the moon after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in government, admin and development from the University of South Africa (Unisa).
