The president has broken silence and has enlightened Ghanaians on the need for the E-levy to be passed. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(38, 38, 38);\">The whole E-levy brouhaha started last year after the Finance Minister presented the 2022 budget and proposed a new bill that seeks to tax mobile money transactions. Many Ghanaians kicked against the new levy considering the hardship it will put the ordinary people in.
