Now, we can talk with data, those who are against the E-levy and those who are for the E-levy. <\/p>\n<p>The survey was conducted on a partisan basis that is New Patriotic Party (NPP) members and National Democratic Congress (NDC) members, as well as what they termed as floating members (those who don&#8217;t join either NPP or NDC and are nonpartisan). Surprisingly, NPP members had a higher number of No&#8217;s meaning even the ruling party members do not want E- levy to pass. <\/p>\n<p>Global Info Analytics is a nonpartisan  that provides data-driven research and insights on politics, policy, and business strategy for local and international organizations for better decision-making.<\/p>\n<p>According to their survey, Seventy-three percent of Ghanaians are against the implementation of the Electronic Levy Bill popularly known as E-levy. Also, 56.35 percent of the ruling New Patriotic Party supporters sampled are against the E-levy while 86.64 percent of the National Democratic Congress supporters sampled are against the E-levy. For the floating Ghanaians that is, those who are neither NPP nor NDC, 77.51 percent are against the E-levy. <\/p>\n<p>Below is the results of the survey conducted by Global Info Analytics. Green is for Yes, I support the Levy, and Red is for No, while light Blue is for &#8216; no option&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/0d6fced3d1c840ccae56bad880664886\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The Executive Director of Global Info Analytics, Musa Danquah while speaking to Citi News said, he wasn&#8217;t surprised with the results of the survey, just that he was expecting it to be a bit higher. <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 51, 51);\">\u201cI wasn\u2019t surprised, but what I was surprised by was, I was expecting it to be a bit higher than what we got,\u201d Mr. Danquah\u00a0told Citi News. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 51, 51);\"><span class=\"ql-cursor\">\ufeff<\/span><\/span><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/ebabba36d248455b938367673bfa4e44\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The survey was conducted in 34 constituencies across the country with a sample size of 2,422 persons. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Do you agree with the outcome of the survey? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Do you think the sample size was too small? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Do you think the results for the NPP members are not the true representation? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Please leave all your comments and thoughts about the article in the comment section.
