Rihanna\u2019s father Ronald Fenty is over the moon following the announcement of the singer\u2019s pregnancy. Speaking during an interview with PageSix<\/em>, the 68-year-old Barbadian revealed that he is beyond excited to know that his celebrity daughter will be a mother soon, making him a grandfather of three. <\/p>\n

Explaining how he received the news, Ronald Fenty disclosed that he literally jumped up and down like a little baby full of excitement. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m ecstatic. I\u2019m so happy that I jumped for joy. I\u2019m still so excited,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n

Fenty added that since childhood, Rihanna has always loved children and longed to be a mother. In fact, according to him, Rihanna has always taken care of her cousins\u2019 children during gatherings. He strongly believes that she will make a good mother. <\/p>\n

\u201cRihanna always said that she wanted children, she loves kids. She always takes care of her cousins\u2019 kids\u2026she\u2019s going to be a good mom,\u201d he added. <\/p>\n

Asked about his relationship with Rihanna\u2019s soon to be baby daddy – A$AP Rocky, Fenty described him as a loving and cool person who will also be a great father to his unborn grandchild. <\/p>\n

\u201cHe is a very cool guy. I like him,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n

Rihanna announced that she was on the family way barely a day ago and the revelation has taken the world by storm. The singer debuted her baby bump wearing a long pink jacket while out in New York City over the weekend with her rapper boyfriend. <\/p>\n

According to reports, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were friends for many years before they began dating. In May last year, Rapper A$AP Rocky revealed to GQ magazine<\/em> that Rihanna was the love of his life and that he badly wanted to be a father. <\/p>\n

“I think I\u2019d be an incredible, remarkably, overall amazing dad,” he said adding that. “I would have a very fly child.” <\/p>\n
