Nowadays, the life span of most people ranges between 70 to 100 years, this is according to the bible. The majority of the people in the current generation are dying young because of the outbreak of several diseases, abrupt change of climate, type of diet among other issues. It’s rare to find a person born in the late 19th century living past 100 years. However, today, am going to share with you the fascinating story of Methuselah, he is regarded as the oldest man to have ever lived on the planet. Methuselah was Enoch’s son, Lamech’s father, and Noah’s great-grandfather, according to the Bible.

The lineage of Adam may be traced down to Noah, who was himself a descendent of Adam. When he was 187 years old, he married and became Lamech’s father. Lamech lived for a total of 782 years after his birth, making him the longest-living human being ever.

It is believed that Methuselah died a week before the onset of the first great flood, according to biblical chronology. He has been well recognized and largely regarded as the world’s oldest man for many years, and he will continue to be so in the future. According to the book of Genesis chapter 5 verse, 27 Methuselah died at the age of 969. The Bible says that Methuselah died the year of the flood. However, the Bible did not indicate whether he died before the flood or during the flood. In today’s world, there is no one alive who can match Methuselah’s life expectancy, and I sincerely doubt that any man would ever live even half the amount of time he did during his existence. There has never been another person on the face of the globe who has been able to match, much alone come close to, this accomplishment.

Source:

https://www.google.com/search?q=Methuselah&client=ms-android-transsion-tecno-rev1&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8

Content created and supplied by: Psilah (via Opera
, . , .
