The Orange Democratic Movement Party has responded after Mathira Member of Parliament Riagathi Gachagua and former Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama block Mt Kenya Parties into working with Deputy President William Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance Party issuing fresh details.<\/p>\n
According to Mr. Sifuna, he has said that as the ODM Party they have no problem with any of the Mt Kenya Parties entering into a coalition deal with ODM and that all are welcomed.<\/p>\n
The ODM Secretary-General has said that already as the ODM they have started engaging Mt Kenya parties such as Jubilee and the PNU led by Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Peter Munya.<\/p>\n
“All like-minded parties in Mt Kenya are welcome to work with us. We already have ongoing talks with Jubilee and PNU,” Orange Democratic Movement Secretary-General Edwin Sifuna has said.<\/p>\n
Mr. Edwin Sifuna has said that what those running in the year 2022 should understand is that Mt Kenya is not a region to undermine extending that Mount Kenya Parties may it be big or small have a big say in the manner in which the region will vote in August, hence Mr. Odinga’s team will not ignore them.<\/p>\n
“Working with Mount Kenya Parties will bolster our inroads in the region. They have their strengths which we want to leverage,” Sifuna has added.<\/p>\n
Mathira Member of Parliament Hon Rigathi Gachagua is on the record informing that the UDA will not engage small parties in Mt Kenya saying that they have no impact.<\/p>\n
UDA National Chairman Johnson Muthama has also informed that they don’t need any coalition explaining that even those who want to join them must not come thinking of positions.<\/p>\n
