I feel like pleading with him and trying to change his mind, but I know that\u2019s a bad idea.<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019s a really good person, actually, and it\u2019s not a question of him playing the field, it\u2019s just that neither of us has met someone special who\u2019s blown us away, so we keep drifting back for sex.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/6_Coleen-Nolan-cropped-for-columnPNG.png\" alt=\"Coleen Nolan\"\/><figcaption>Coleen Nolan is the Mirror\u2019s resident agony aunt<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Coleen says<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Well, I don\u2019t think either of you will meet that special person who blows you away when you keep drifting back together and having sex.<\/p>\n<p>I can feel how hurt you are, but I think it was brave to admit you love him and at least now you know where you stand, and you can move on \u00adpositively to make space in your life for someone else.<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t think it has to be the end of the friendship, but I think he\u2019s right in that you both need some time apart to get on with your own lives and make some positive changes before seeing each<br \/>other again.<\/p>\n<p>At the moment, it\u2019s still raw, you\u2019re hurting and you want more from this relationship than he\u2019s willing to give, so you need some time out.<\/p>\n<p>You deserve more than to be with someone who doesn\u2019t love you back.
