The late founder of Off-White and artistic director and menswear at Louis Vuitton not only went beyond boundaries but was also named the first African-American artistic director of a French Luxury Brand but became a gateway for others.<\/p>\n

Virgil who passed way on the 28th of November,2021 mentored upcoming Black Creatives and fostered Black fashion students with several scholarship programs.<\/p>\n

Louis Vuitton is collaborating with Sotheby\u2019s to auction 200 special-edition pairs of Louis Vuitton and Nike \u201cAirForce 1\u201d by Virgil Abloh sneakers with Louis Vuitton pilot cases in association with Abloh\u2019s family.<\/p>\n

In addition to the auction,Louis Vuitton will be exhibiting the 47 Orignal runway Sneakers in stores across the globe.<\/p>\n

proceeds will benefit The Virgil Abloh \u201cPost Modern \u201c Scholarship Fund.<\/p>\n

Recipients of the scholarships are selected each year from FSF\u2019s network of over 66 collages and universities across the country ,with eight HBCU\u2019s being inclusive through the annual FSF scholarship competition.<\/p>\n
