He has stated emphatically that the Town Hall Meeting the New Patriotic Party is planning of organising to explain E-levy will not change the minds of Ghanaians to accept it.

According to him, the NDC has already explained the issues of the E-levy to any ordinary Ghanaian through the Town Hall Meeting they organised yesterday and it will be difficult for the NPP to convince Ghanaians into accepting it.

However, he explained that the NPP should have a dialogue with the leadership of the NDC so that they will accept the E-levy in Parliament. Nana Frimpong Ziega revealed that the NDC may be willing to accept the E-levy only if the tax percentage is reduced from the 1.7% to 1.2% or 1.0%. He revealed that even the 1.2% will fetch the country a lot of money which will be used to undertake a lot of developmental projects.

He added that there a lot of things to be discussed in Parliament so the NPP should make sure they sit down with the NDC and get things done (approve E-levy) within the shortest possible time.

Do you agree with Nana Frimpong Ziega? Do you think the NDC should accept the E-levy?
