Klaus Schwab<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n THE WORLD Economic Forum (WEB) has announced it will hold its Annual Meeting 2022 in\u00a0Davos-Klosters, Switzerland, from\u00a0Sunday, May 22 to Thursday,\u00a0May 26, 2022.<\/p>\n Under\u00a0the theme\u00a0\u2018Working Together, Restoring Trust\u2019 the Annual Meeting 2022 will be the first global in-person leadership event since the start of the pandemic.<\/p>\n The\u00a0Annual Meeting 2022 which\u00a0returns to\u00a0Davos-Klosters\u00a0after a two-year hiatus\u00a0will offer\u00a0world leaders\u00a0an opportunity to take stock of the state of the world and shape partnerships and policies for the crucial\u00a0period\u00a0ahead. Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman, World Economic Forum, said: \u201cAfter all the virtual meetings taking place in the last two years, leaders from politics, business and civil society have to convene finally in person again. Topics on the agenda will include the pandemic recovery,\u00a0tackling climate change, building a better future for work, accelerating stakeholder capitalism, and harnessing the technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.<\/p>\n

World Economic Forum, also indicated that the forum will continue to communicate closely with the Swiss government on the public health situation in Switzerland adding that\u00a0the meeting will take place as long as\u00a0all\u00a0necessary\u00a0conditions are in place to guarantee the health and safety of\u00a0its\u00a0participants\u00a0and\u00a0the host community.<\/p>\n
