A man divorced his wife after she requested and danced to a song at their wedding and caused a huge family row, it has been reported. <\/p>\n
The couple has set a new record for the shortest marriage after calling it quits following an argument during their celebrations in Baghdad.<\/p>\n
According to local reports, the woman requested the Syrian song Mesaytara by Lamis Kan. The title translates to I am dominant or I will control you.<\/p>\n
The song begins with the lyrics: \u201cI am dominant; you will be ruled under my strict instructions, I will drive you crazy if you looked at other girls on the street.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, I\u2019m dominant, you\u2019re my piece of sugar. As long as you\u2019re with me, you\u2019ll walk under my command.\u201d<\/p>\n
The bride was reportedly dancing to the song and enjoying her wedding, but the groom\u2019s family were not impressed resulting in a huge row between the two families.<\/p>\n And it\u2019s not the first time this has happened, and the song lead to another divorce in Jordan last year.<\/p>\n The speedy divorce is far from the first bit of wedding drama this week, and one groom ended up\u00a0banning her sister from his big day\u00a0after a cruel prank.<\/p>\n Writing to\u00a0Slate\u2019s\u00a0Dear Prudence agony aunt column, the unnamed partner recounted how, while at the party, the 20-year-old sister announced that she had brought along \u201ca special surprise guest\u201d.<\/p>\n She then proceeded to wheel in \u201ca skeleton dressed up in a sister of the bride\u2019 t-shirt\u201d, the \u2018joke\u2019 here is that the bride-to-be\u2019s younger sister died when she was just 16.<\/p>\n The anonymous writer of the letter has been left understandably incensed by their sister\u2019s heartless \u2018surprise\u2019 and currently isn\u2019t on speaking terms with her, remarking \u201cI don\u2019t know what you could even say\u201d.<\/p>\n Although their sister has never particularly liked their fianc\u00e9e, they \u201cstill can\u2019t believe she did something so theatrically cruel\u201d.<\/p>\n Unfortunately, the rest of their family now want the writer to back down, explaining away her actions as being those of a \u201cdumb kid\u201d who \u201coverstepped the mark\u201d while trying to be \u201cedgy\u201d. The sister, who the family claim is very sorry about the whole thing, hasn\u2019t communicated anything other than to tell t<\/p>\n their sibling to \u201cget over it, it wasn\u2019t like it was \u2018dead sister\u2019s ACTUAL skeleton\u201d.<\/p>\n However, the furious partner feels they just \u201ccan\u2019t just sweep it under the rug\u201d and has decided to stand firm with their position. Now, their side of the family won\u2019t be attending the wedding and their fianc\u00e9e has asked them to just \u201cgive in to keep the peace\u201d.<\/p>\n They wrote: \u201cShe says that it\u2019s not worth causing so much disruption over a stupid prank that went wrong. Except it wasn\u2019t a prank!
