The past week was one full of pains and sadness. Ghanaians were sad throughout the week. This happened because we shared a lot of horrible and terrible news stories in the nations. Last week will be the saddest week in Ghana\u2019s history. Sadness has spread all over the country, ranging from sports and society news. Below is a recap of all the hottest and viral stories you have to know as we get the breakthrough to another week.<\/p>\n

One sad story that went viral and made headlines was the death of two nursing students. It was last week that Priscilla Antwi Williams and Ellen Kwofie died in a horrific accident. They were students of Asankragua Nursing and midwifery school. Ellen, whose school mother was Priscilla, accompanied to visit her parents in the same area. They alleged that, after spending a good time with the family, darkness fell. They left home for school, their home to school was a walking journey, but they were in a hurry that they bored a tricycle (Pragyia) which crashed and ended the life of the beautiful ladies.<\/p>\n

Another news that made headlines in Ghanaian stories was the death of family. It was sad at Kasoa Budumburam where a family of seven burnt into ashes in a glooming fire. This brought a lot of sadness to the country. Members of the family were screaming for help, but the fire blocked the gateway into the building. Before the fire service reported at the scene, the family was already burnt into ashes. The head of the family was a head teacher. They left his students in shock to believe their master\u2019s death.<\/p>\n

Also, the next story that made headlines sparked the anger of Ghanaians. This happened when Comoros Island has an upper hand on Ghana Blacks. The game ended in a five goals thriller. They eliminated the black stars team from the AFCON. After three matches, the stars only had one point. It was embarrassing to Ghana because the national team was in one of the weakest group in the tournament. Government invested an enormous sum of money for them to bring the trophy which failed. The government held a press conference with the GFA. The next morning, they sacked coach Milovan Rajevac as the national team manager.<\/p>\n

In the latter part of the week, Ghana was in a state of mourning and sadness. An explosion in Apiatse near Bogoso led to death of 13 people and 59 others had injuries. After the dynamite explosion, it turned the community down, it scattered all buildings around the community. They allege that the car varying the explosive had a minor clash with a tricycle. After the explosion, Vice President visited the community and supported them with some relief items and GHS 200,000.<\/p>\n
