File Photo by Jim Ruymen\/UPI | License Photo<\/div>\n<article itemprop=\"articleBody\">\n<p><span class=\"story_dl\">Jan. 19 (UPI) &#8212;<\/span> Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval are looking back on one of the most &#8220;hurtful&#8221; moments in their 10-year friendship.<\/p>\n<p>The <i>Vanderpump Rules<\/i> co-stars appeared on Tuesday&#8217;s episode of <i>Watch What Happens Live<\/i>, where Schwartz called out Sandoval for his comments to Schwartz&#8217;s wife, Katie Schwartz-Maloney, about money.\n<\/p>\n<\/article>\n<p>Sandoval and Schwartz-Maloney clashed earlier in Season 9 after Sandoval said he&#8217;s the one bringing money and business opportunities into Schwartz and Schwartz-Maloney&#8217;s household. Schwartz-Maloney slammed Sandoval for the remarks, saying Schwartz &#8220;makes his own money.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>On <i>WWHL<\/i>, Schwartz said hearing Sandoval&#8217;s remarks was a low point in their friendship.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Yeah, that was hurtful. I mean, honestly, the condescension &#8230; the patronizing, that hurt,&#8221; Schwartz told Sandoval.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m sorry about that. I apologize,&#8221; Sandoval responded.<\/p>\n<p>Schwartz then added, &#8220;In our 10 years of friendship, that was one of the most hurtful moments.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p><emb><\/p>\n<div class=\"youtube-embed\" data-video_id=\"X2vWzsRwuXI\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Most Hurtful Thing Tom Sandoval Did to Tom Schwartz | WWHL\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/X2vWzsRwuXI?feature=oembed&#038;enablejsapi=1\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p><\/emb>\n<\/p>\n<p>Sandoval said he was &#8220;bothered&#8221; when he made the remark to Schwartz-Maloney.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It bothered me that after everything we&#8217;ve been through &#8212; when COVID happened, I got to work for both of us,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Schwartz and Sandoval then agreed that Schwartz has also brought at least one big work opportunity to Sandoval.\n<\/p>\n<p><i>Vanderpump Rules <\/i>is in its ninth season on Bravo.
