As it stands, the government only have two options to increase taxes, or they have to go back to IMF and borrow. So, they can meet their temporary shortfall<\/p>\n<p>However, political commentators and senior economist have been talking what will happen, and what government should do to handle the current economy situation. Here are what they say below<\/p>\n<p>President of IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe<\/p>\n<h2><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/747ae8ba410f47ce9204cdb45f1970fa\"\/><\/h2>\n<p>\u201cWhen you see the proportion of the debt payment, relative to the size of the revenue envelope and you look at your rising debt and you look at the rate of economic growth and the drivers of that growth, you can reasonably predict that it\u2019s just a matter of time that the economy will just collapse.
