It appears if you are a celebrity and you are sick and in need of something, you cannot seek financial assistance from the public without being insulted.<\/p>\n<p>The Ghanaian media <span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34);\">personality, journalist and broadcaster, <\/span>Gloria Akpene Nyarku-Acquah, popularly known as MzGee has recently been captured interviewing the veteran Kumawood Actress, Maame Kumiwaa. In the interview, Actress <span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34);\">Maame Kumiwaa told MzGee that she has been ill for quite a long time now. She has a swollen leg but anytime she gets a little well, she managed to go to work and get something small to take care of herself.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34);\">Maame Kumiwaa stated that when the issue of her sickness came up, some people came to her that they wanted to take some pictures and put them on social media so that Ghanaians will help. But she told them that she doesn&#8217;t like that kind of help. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34);\">She said, &#8220;Even though I am sick and in need of help, I will never beg for it in the public. If you visit me and donate some money or items to me, I will take it. But for you to make my situation public, I won&#8217;t accept it. This is because some Ghanaians can really insult you if you go public with your situation.
