Opanin Nimo Denkyira, 61, has been found dead after two men threatened to deal with him. Opanin Denkyira was found dead when his wife went over to wake him up. He was dead when I touched him. Tepa Police Department of the Ashanti Regional Police Command has effected two arrests after Eno Serwaa Denkyira gave her statement to the police. The two arrestees, Eric Bawa and Oppong Ason, were arrested when the statement of Eno Serwaa incriminated them in the death of Opanin Nimo Denkyira.<\/p>\n
The two suspects have been taken to the Tepa Police station where investigations are ongoing. <\/p>\n
Case Study<\/strong><\/p>\n We were having our dinner last night when Eric and Ason came for their money from my husband. The two had finished an assignment my husband gave them on our farm. They were to weed the farm; a two-acre land.<\/p>\n My husband gave them the work on the 6 January and they competed the work on yesterday 14 January. They didn’t charge my husband and asked him to give them anything he has.<\/p>\n My husband repeatedly asked them to charge us, but they told him, anything he offers them, will be ok. For their act of gesture, we cooked for them morning and evening from the 6 January to yesterday 14 January.<\/p>\n My husband decided to give them GH\u00a224 a day for their work. And gave them GH\u00a2200 for the 8days they used to weed the cocoa farms but they became angry on the money and demanded GH\u00a2640 for the job; GH\u00a280 per day.\u00a0<\/p>\n This brought a disagreement between them and my husband. My husband had petitioned them to be considerate since they never charged him but they were very angry and started destroying things in our house.<\/p>\n They gagged him by the neck, held him high and threatened to deal with him if he fails to pay the 640. They threw my husband away when I went to look for help during the fight. They gagged him before throwing him away like some piece of waste, Eno Serwaa said in tears.<\/p>\n Eric Bawa<\/strong><\/p>\n The two arrestees; Eric Bawa and Oppong Ason, after choking Opanin Nimo Denkyira by the neck, threw him away and that lead to his death, Tepa Government hospital report confirmed.
