The Ghana police have caused massive stir today as their official statement given to the general public meets criticism and questions from the public.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, there was a video circulating on the internet that got the attention of many.<\/p>\n

For many, these videos which were shared to the media was a disgrace to the police force and the credibility of the Ghana police.<\/p>\n

There are police officers who are seen on the regular in so many awful acts according to many Ghanaians who have shown concern.<\/p>\n

Some of these activities are overlooked but it seems the least privileged ones who get into trouble are those who can not defend themselves because of their ranks.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Indeed, it is right and okay to interdict a police officer who has tainted the credibility or the respect of the force.<\/p>\n

But because of the numerous activities of many police officers which are not professional, people feel Dampare and his men are overdoing what they have done today.<\/p>\n

2 hours ago, there was an official press from the police revealing the interdiction of one of their own.<\/p>\n

This was as a result of a circulating video in which according to the police had the perception that the young man in uniform was drunk.<\/p>\n

We do not know about the codes of conducts for the police force or their requirements. But for many who have shown concern, they think the young man should not be sacked because he was drunk.<\/p>\n

For them, a lot should be asked and a lot should be made available to the public on what grounds they will probably stand on to do this.<\/p>\n

The member of parliament contestant for the national democratic congress in Ayawaso west, John Domelo claims the man should be spared.<\/p>\n

As for him, he is not in support of sacking him and he has received the backing from many other Ghanaians. They claim a second chance should be given and if he was drunk on duty, he should probably be punished according to the rules of the police force.<\/p>\n
