According to eyewitnesses, the Police officer tried to stop a driver for unlawful driving but the driver did not stop. The Police officer then took a taxi and drove it, chasing the driver he tried to stop. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/3079758a4ab34076a7c65d8a2525c83e\"\/><\/p>\n<p>When he got to Atiko junction, the car smashed into some women who were selling nearby. One of the victims when she was hit by the car, hit a tree which had nails on them and she died instantly. The other woman who got injured was rushed to the hospital together with the police officer. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/34c085be68974314a5ea56455c44a92f\"\/><\/p>\n<p>One of the deceased was identified and her brother, Kofi Sarfo expressed his disappointment in the Police and how they deliver their services. He added that no police officer has yet approached the family to console them. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/610df1afb2b84796a04309085a3da0a2\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The Kaneshie MTTD commander, ASP Kingsley Kanda responding to these claims said that they have heard that it was a police officer who caused this accident. However, they are yet to confirm how true it is.
