If marrying one woman in this current economic circumstance is hard, how much more marrying three women on the go? That surely is not is not only more hard but miraculous and unimaginable. Yet, a man from Zuarungu in the Bolgatanga East District of the Upper East Region will make history this weekend as he is set to take in three beautiful women at a go. The groom , Alhaji Abdulai Mumuni who is the chief of the Moshi Community in the Zuarungu township is thought to be married already but is looking to add three more women on Saturday[January 15] to complete the 1: 4 ratio as recommended by the Islamic tradition. An invitation card of the upcoming unprecedented wedding which has been trending since yesterday show the brides by their first names as Nuudiah, Hikimah and Yaasimina. <\/p>\n

Per tradition in the tradition in the Upper East Region where the groom is required to give herds of cattle as bride price to the family of his would-be wife, the bride price paid by Alhaji Mumuni should be enough to take care of another man’s wedding. But the resources for such a historic event may not be the issue at the moment. For many, what should be the issue is how the chief is able to convince the three women to accept to be his brides on the same day.<\/p>\n
