Christmas is among the most anticipated events not just for Christians, but also to the non-religious. If you dig deep enough in your Bible, you will find reasons that Christians ought NOT to celebrate Christmas.<\/p>\n
I hope you understand these reasons with an open heart and mind. Pray to God as well to give you willing heart to accept these hard-to-believe truths.<\/p>\n

5 reasons why a true christian shouldn’t celebrate christmas per proofs from the Bible:<\/p>\n
1. God called Christmas as an abomination<\/strong><\/p>\n The Bible clearly tells us that pagan festivals are an abomination to God and these include Christmas. If you are God, do you want your people to use pagan festivals to honor you? Do you like to be worshiped with recycled garbage or those things that you called abominable, futile, worthless, and unacceptable?<\/p>\n 2. God did not command us to celebrate Christ\u2019s birth<\/strong><\/p>\n As much as we like to, God did not tell us to celebrate Christ’s birth. At least twice the Bible mentioned about people celebrating birthdays, and we saw that both ended in tragedy. So are we free to make our own laws or commandments? Are we better than God? If we are adamant in following God, then we should not add nor subtract to His commandments.<\/p>\n 3. December 25 is not the birthdate of Christ<\/strong><\/p>\n There is no evidence to support December 25 as the birthdate of Christ. For example, the Bible tells us that during the night Christ was born, there was a shepherd out in the field herding their flock (Luke 2:8).<\/p>\n The weather in Bethlehem during December is miserably cold. Joseph and Mary went to Bethlehem for a Roman census, and the Roman government would never order such a census to occur in bad weather.<\/p>\n 4. Christmas is a pagan festival<\/strong><\/p>\n Most Christmas symbolisms and beliefs have nothing to do with Christ. December 25 is associated with pagan festivals, often marking the birth of pagan gods \u2013 something that God extremely CONDEMNS! Instead of spirit of giving, what actually reigns during this holiday is the spirit of getting!<\/p>\n 5. Christmas hide the actual Festivals of God<\/strong><\/p>\n If we are not to celebrate Christmas, then what should we celebrate? The Bible clearly tells us that we must celebrate the Festivals of God. Even Christ and the Apostles celebrated them. So it’s your choice; will you celebrate a recycled, abominable, and cursed pagan holiday? Or will you choose God’s ordained and appointed Feasts?<\/p>\n There are more reasons that I can share with you, but I would like to just leave you with these five points.<\/p>\n Don\u2019t be deceived my friend. It is time to open your mind to the truth. Satan is cunning that he sugar-coats his lies just to deceive you.
