The Teranga Lions of Senegal had a tough encounter against the Warriors of Zimbabwe which ended in a narrow win at the stoppage time for the Lions of Teranga. Both teams played well and created a lot of opportunities.<\/p>\n

The Lions of Teranga dominated the entire match of 61% against 39% in ball possession. From their defense force to the attacking force were very solid and dazzling with the likes of Pape Abou Ciss\u00e9, Bouna Sarr, Sadio Man\u00e9 proved to be top-notch.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Lions of Teranga made total shots of 16 of which 3 were on target, 9 off target, and 4 were blocked. They also made 478 passes of which 399 went through accurately, and created 3 chances.<\/p>\n

Zimbabwe, on the other hand, troubled Senegal’s defense a little bit with 11 shots in a total of which 2 were on target, 5 off target, and accurate passes of 234 (76%).<\/p>\n

However, Senegal coach, Aliou Ciss\u00e9’s effort of swaying all three points paid off in the stoppage time as\u00a0Kelvin Madzongwe’s for Zimbabwe handball in the 18-yard box gave them a penalty which Liverpool star Sadio Man\u00e9 comfortable converted in a win and was named man of the match with a rating of 8.1 according to sofa score statistics.<\/p>\n
