The National Communications Officer for the National Democratic Congress has once again questioned the digitization agenda of this government. According to Sammy Gyamfi, this government is always making ‘noise’ about digitization but it doesn’t seem to appear in real life.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Speaking on Adom Tv this morning, Sammy Gyamfi charged the government to create an application where Ghanaians can use their mobile phones to upload their Ghana Card details online rather than queuing up to various network centers.<\/p>\n

He also added that, the vice president should have thought of this idea before implementing this policy. He added that, students with IT skills can generate applications than will ease the pressure on various network centers.<\/p>\n

He is therefore urging the government to allow Ghanaians to do the process themselves with their phones rather than queuing up to networks offices.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sammy Gyamfi is again concerned with the recent increase in Covid-19 cases in the country. He believes that, this sim registration is a key factor to this increment.<\/p>\n
