{"id":739000,"date":"2022-01-07T11:10:26","date_gmt":"2022-01-07T11:10:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/01\/07\/etranzact-santas-reach-out-to-children-at-korle-bu-hospital\/"},"modified":"2022-01-07T11:10:26","modified_gmt":"2022-01-07T11:10:26","slug":"etranzact-santas-reach-out-to-children-at-korle-bu-hospital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/01\/07\/etranzact-santas-reach-out-to-children-at-korle-bu-hospital\/","title":{"rendered":"eTranzact Santas Reach Out To Children At Korle-Bu Hospital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>eTranzact, a premier electronic payment provider in Ghana, brought smiles to children at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital during the festive season.<\/p>\n<p>Anonymously dressed up as Santa Claus, eTranzact management shared over 200 Christmas gifts across all floors of the Children\u2019s Ward of the health facility to the delight of children and parents.<\/p>\n<p>Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Manager of eTranzact\u2019s, Yvonne Effe Faska, told DGN Online that the gesture was to show love to the children and the hospital staff for the care of the kids.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-349750\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/IMG-20220107-WA0007-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>She stated the move forms part of the company\u2019s CRS to extend a helping hand as giving of gifts of hope to the ailing children was not out of place.<\/p>\n<p>According to her, \u201cOur aim is to put smiles on the faces of these kids , some of whom have had a very rough time in the year 2021\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>She commended the staff for their attention and dedication to the patients at the children\u2019s ward.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-349751\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/IMG-20220107-WA0005-300x197.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"197\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>On his part, Dr Winfred Baah, Consultant Physician at Korle Bu, who was also dressed up as Santa Claus during the kind gesture, expressed his gratitude to eTranzact and its management for thinking about the children during the Christmas season:<br \/>\u201cWhen eTranzact management contacted me and said that they wanted to donate gifts anonymously, I was very glad and said I will definitely facilitate the visit and help out\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-349752\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/IMG-20220107-WA0004-300x205.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"205\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>He further added: \u201cI pray that more companies will follow this lead, and think of others and help others when they can\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Baah thanked the company for coming to spend the festive season with the patients.<\/p>\n<p>He urged the eTranzact to revisit the hospital during Easter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>By Vincent Kubi<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- AI CONTENT END 2 -->\n\t<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>eTranzact, a premier electronic payment provider in Ghana, brought smiles to children at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital during the festive season.
