Jan. 6 (UPI) —<\/span> Morgan Wallen, Olivia Rodrigo, Adele, Drake, Taylor Swift and more dominated U.S. music sales for 2021, according to MRC Data’s year-end report.<\/p>\n

Wallen’s Dangerous: The Double Album<\/i> was the top album of 2021 by total equivalent album units earned by reaching 3.226 million units.\n<\/p>\n<\/article>\n

The list combines digital and physical sales along with the equivalent value of songs that were streamed and sold.<\/p>\n

Rodrigo’s Sour<\/i> came in second place followed by Drake’s Certified Lover Boy<\/i>, Adele’s 30<\/i>, Pop Smoke’s Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon<\/i>, Doja Cat’s Planet Her<\/i>, The Kid LAROI’s [Expletive] Love<\/i>, Justin Bieber’s Justice<\/i>, Dua Lipa’s Future Nostalgia<\/i> and The Weeknd’s After Hours<\/i>.<\/p>\n

For traditional sales that don’t take in account streaming numbers, Adele’s 30<\/i> reached the top spot with 1.464 million units followed by Swift’s Red (Taylor’s Version)<\/i>, Rodrigo’s Sour<\/i>, Swift’s Evermore<\/i>, Swift’s Fearless (Taylor’s Version)<\/i>, Billie Eilish’s Happier Than Ever<\/i>, Harry Styles’ Fine Line<\/i>, Swift’s Folklore<\/i>, Carrie Underwood’s My Savior<\/i> and Wallen’s Dangerous: The Double Album<\/i>.\n<\/p>\n
