National Democratic Congress’ Cassiel Ato Forson has allegedly exposed Attorney General\u00a0over the statement made against him yesterday, claims he wasn’t a deputy minister as at 2011 as AG said.<\/p>\n
He quoted paragraph 7 of the Attorney general’s statement which says the then Minister of Health sent an application to the Deputy Minister of Finance ( Ato Forson) for the purchase of 200 ambulances in 2011.<\/p>\n
According to Cassiel Ato Forson, the statement is false. He claims he became the Deputy Minister\u00a0of Finance 2013 during the second term of the National Democratic Congress in office.<\/p>\n
He said; “For the avoidance of doubt, the Cabinet memo for the purchase of the Ambulances was submitted in December 2011. I became a Deputy minister on the 2nd of May 2013. How could I have signed a cabinet MEMO in December 2011?”<\/p>\n
He claims the Attorney general’s sudden reaction might be caused by “hate, prejudice and demagoguery” and also he is “abusing his prosecutorial powers o silence, critical political opponents”<\/p>\n
He claims the Attorney General is not fair with what he is currently doing because he is doing it for personal interest.<\/p>\n
