{"id":736069,"date":"2022-01-05T13:06:29","date_gmt":"2022-01-05T13:06:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/01\/05\/woman-marries-the-colour-pink-in-historic-wedding-photos\/"},"modified":"2022-01-05T13:06:29","modified_gmt":"2022-01-05T13:06:29","slug":"woman-marries-the-colour-pink-in-historic-wedding-photos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/01\/05\/woman-marries-the-colour-pink-in-historic-wedding-photos\/","title":{"rendered":"Woman marries the colour pink in historic wedding [Photos]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<div class=\"td-post-featured-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"637\" height=\"424\" class=\"entry-thumb\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/WhatsApp-Image-2022-01-05-at-11.25.44-AM.jpeg\"   alt=\"\" title=\"Woman marries color pink\"\/><\/div>\n<p>For many people, January 1 means new beginnings and new resolutions but for Kitten Kay Sera, it will forever be her historic wedding anniversary.<\/p>\n<p>In front of a pink-clad crowd, sitting in a pink Cadillac, Kitten Kay Sera said \u201cI do\u201d \u2014 while clutching a colour swatch with shades of bubblegum, flamingo and carnation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m actually marrying the color pink,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, January 1, at noon, Sera became the first person to marry a colour.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/22191989129,1002554\/MGL\/mgl_ado_atunwa_300x250 --><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/F4F243BA-783F-4243-81C9-33990D0B8993.jpeg\" alt=\"Woman in love with color pink marries it, vows to never wear another shade  \u2014 Global Times Nigeria\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI actually have a giant pink swatch, like a pink paint swatch, so the colors are like my favorite,\u201d Sera said. \u201cThey\u2019re all listed, and I\u2019ll be holding my pink swatch.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sera said she\u2019s been wearing pink since 1980.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve had my relationship with the color pink for 40 years.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Kitten-Kay-Sera-Daily-Star-1-478x598.jpg\" alt=\"California woman marries the colour pink in Las Vegas wedding -  MyJoyOnline.com\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>The idea to tie the knot came two years ago.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA kid said to me on a skateboard, he said, \u2018Wow, you love pink, right?\u2019 I said, \u2018Yeah, I love it so much,\u2019 and he goes, \u2018You love it so much, why don\u2019t you marry it?\u2019 I thought, \u2018This kid\u2019s onto something!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While the idea to marry a color sounds crazy, Sera said she encourages everyone to do what they love while they still can.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gray-wmtv-prod.cdn.arcpublishing.com\/resizer\/ZXcnCL6ZH5f_-xZRQu8PPkZQcCg=\/1200x900\/smart\/filters:quality(85)\/cloudfront-us-east-1.images.arcpublishing.com\/gray\/APSMVUDQYBBGDKGPT57AV6RQ2I.jpg\" alt=\"Woman marries the color pink in historic Vegas wedding\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cHave fun with it. Have a ball. You\u2019re only here for a little bit of time. Have a blast,\u201d Sera said.<\/p>\n<p>The wedding happened at A Little White Wedding Chapel.
